Vanessa Stark, originally from South Africa, is not a new face for CHEP. She has been working for CHEP Automotive in Cologne since 2012. First in customer service, then in sales and then as Strategic Marketing Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before joining CHEP, Stark was also active at BMW and supply chain company UTi Worldwide.

“From the moment I joined CHEP in 2012 I was hooked. It is a company that embraces a culture of diversity and encourages us all to dare to become more than we think we are. My initial start at CHEP was in the Automotive division in Germany and over the years I worked in different departments and levels. In May 2019 I took on a brand new challenge to lead the CHEP Benelux Pallet Business and I moved my home and work base to Belgium. I was extremely impressed with this fantastic business and high caliber of people who have embraced me. I feel privileged to be part of such a great team who work so well together in name of serving our customers in the best way possible. As the invisible backbone of the global supply chain, we are in a challenging and relevant business which makes it very interesting every day. The fact that our business model is inherently sustainable, is for me still a big motivator to keep coming to work. And I do love coming to work.”

In 2014 Geert started working at CHEP as HR Manager Benelux. Before he worked in different HR roles at Henkel and CSM. In his career he has always worked closely with colleagues in production sites, and because of that became passionate about supply chain. Thus, his next step at CHEP as Senior Supply Chain Manager does not come as a surprise.

"From the first moment I started working here, I felt the passion and professionality of the colleagues, who work together across divisions. Finance Business Partner

Bert joined CHEP in 2018 as Sr. Financial Analyst and promoted early 2019 to Finance Business Partner. Before he worked in different analytic Finance functions within the metal industry and logistics. As from his early career, he got triggered by comprehending the company’s product or service behind the numbers and graphs.

“As from the first day, I felt the professional drive of my colleagues. A passion to sustain and strengthen our current solutions and on top of this expand our product and service offers, at all times remaining customer-focused. In my opinion, one important power of CHEP is the extensive experience of many employees which enables us to look for customer centric solutions in a dynamic and fast-moving environment. The sharing of this year-on-year built up knowledge pushes CHEP’s performance to higher levels.”
