Building a Sustainable World

CHEP’s business model is inherently sustainable. By using our pooled assets and sustainability solutions our customers’ supply chains become more efficient in terms of cost and use of natural resources. We help customers become part of the circular economy through our principles of share and reuse. The more our customers use our platforms, the greater the efficiencies.

Sustainability Goals 2020

At the same time, we strive to minimise our own impact on the environment and contribute positively to the communities we operate in. CHEP plays a major role in advancing the Brambles Group’s Sustainability strategy and achieving its 2020 Sustainability Goals, which are tied to the Sustainable Development Goals set out by the United Nations. All our Sustainability activities are built around our strategic framework of Better Business, Better Planet, Better Communities.

The circular economy

Our Share and Reuse business model is based on the concept of the circular economy,  an industrial model where waste is seen as a resource and zero pollution is produced.

Watch how our business model builds on sustainability based on an example for pallets and the manufacturer-retailer cycle. CHEP Automotive and Industrial uses the same principles to provide sustainable solutions to your industry.

Collaboration Project

The biggest Sustainability benefits can only be achieved by end-to-end collaboration across the entire supply chain. We work with you, your suppliers, your logistics partners, and others to find opportunities where cooperation can make your business more efficient. Scroll down to read case studies on some of the successful collaboration projects we have carried out with our customers.

Better Communities

At CHEP we are dedicated to giving back to the communities we operate in. This means that we give permanent employees three days of Volunteer Leave and also make monetary and in-kind donations to various charities and not-for-profit organisations.

A lot of our community work is for food banks. Below you can see some examples of how we support these incredibly important institutions.
