The synergies of a healthy business through pallet pooling: cost savings and operational simplification

Eisberg Romania, part of the Swiss Bell Group, is the leader in the domestic market of takeaway salads. The company, set up in 1995, annually supplies about 2,500 tons of salad and vegetable mixes produced in the Pantelimon factory or other units in the group - to customers in the retail, public food service and gastronomic sectors.

Eisberg is a growing company in a local market with increasing appetite for healthy products, fresh convenience. But business development has often been hampered by availability problems and pallet recovery costs.
