Contribution to the Environmental Fund
The legal obligations that arise from the way in which packaging and packaging waste is managed have significant administrative and financial implications for goods manufacturers and companies that carry out import-export activities.
Meeting recycling targets implies keeping a strict record of the quantities of packaging placed on the market, declaring these quantities to the Environmental Fund Administration, recycling the minimum quantities required and declaring these quantities on time and in a way that is strictly regulated by law. Otherwise, a contribution to the Environmental Fund is owed which, depending on the quantity of packaging placed on the market, could reach significant sums of money.
