What do you know about prefilled displays?

Before counting the advantages of prefilled displays let's define what does prefilled display mean?

Prefilled display or Pre-pack (pre-pack - “pre-packaged") - prefilled ready to be displayed at the store package with goods. It is delivered from the manufacturer by cross-docking (without placement in the storage area) immediately in the store, where it is entirely placed in the store area without any additional operations of merchandising.

5 advantages of pre-packs for retailers

Why pre-packs should be with quarter-pallets? This is the most effective, reliable, durable and cost-effective solution for the life cycle.
Obviously, the main advantage of using pre-packs together with pallets is mobility and ease of transportation. But there are other pluses.

  • New level of instore efficiency

Pre-packs increase efficiency of staff, speed up replenishment, lower up costs for merchandising and risk of product damage.

  • Better brand visualisation

With pre-packs retailers can shape a goods category in a nice and fast way within store space.

  • Stimulation of impulse purchase

Branded displays attract attention of buyers and differenciate goods in pre-packs from other goods. Can be perceived as goods with discount or promo.

  • Instrument for cross-sale

In one pre-pack there can be several SKUs or can be placed in different store areas to compliment other categories. So cookies can be cross-sold with milk for instance.

  • Mobility

The store layout can be easily modified thanks to mobility of pre-packs. The platforms such as quarter-pallets guarantee the mobility of the pre-pack.

  • Durability

The cardboard display on the pallet lasts longer because it rises above the floor and is protected from dirt and moisture what is very important during fall/winter season.
