Bryan Roberts, Retail Cities, says:

There will have to be some far-reaching thought about how retailers organize their stores, particularly seasonal activations. But I think a lot of it is going to be helping brands and categories which are not part of this prime real estate to help them get up to speed. The retailers will collaborate with non-impacted categories manufacturers while helping the impacted manufacturers come to life in the aisle.
