Know when your order is out for delivery

We’ll notify you when we are on our way with your pallets and provide the estimated time of arrival.

You may see either an estimated arrival time-window or dynamic time, which will be updated as the driver updates (or GPS synchs).

1. Estimated Arrival – Time-Window

When your order is issued, we will send you both a ‘pop-up’ notification in myCHEP and, if you have opted-in for ETA emails, an email of our estimated time of arrival.

The middle of the time-window interval is the estimated time to arrive based upon Google algorithms.

The time-window provided considers traffic conditions en-route to the delivery location.

2. Estimated Arrival - Dynamic Time

Working with our carrier partners to support GPS and alternate technology for load tracking, where enabled, you will receive a link to track on an interactive map where your delivery is.

Time may be updated if arrival is likely to be delayed or improved by more than 30 minutes.

This more accurate estimated time replaces the static, time-window notification. It is possible to first receive a time-window and later a dynamic time estimation for arrival.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What are the time-window notification buffers?

For static, time-window notifications the ‘buffer’ is relative to the length of journey the carrier needs to make to deliver your load.

The minimum widow buffer will be 2 hours, if the overall journey is less than 6 hours. As data and technologies improve, this will be updated.

  • The link for ‘dynamic’ tracking is not working, what should I do?

Your ability to track the delivery won’t impact our intention to deliver. This may be due to a technical issue, which may be unique to your system or with CHEP's.

How to quick check issues with my access?

Please confirm your internet access is fully functioning and your ability to open a new browser screen is not blocked by IT security.  If so, please contact your IT team for further assistance.  If not, please reach out to CHEP via “Request Assistance” on the myCHEP home page.  Or, if urgent, please contact contact your local CHEP Customer Support Center, to request assistance.

If you are inquiring about a specific delivery, please quote the CHEP Reference you have been provided.

  • How can I subscribe other members of my team to the ETA email notifications?

Notification emails can be sent to others by adding their email addresses in myCHEP.

From the Menu Option, select Administration, then Manage Locations, and ‘Services’.

Then under the ‘Orders’ selector, you will see a field that you can add up to 10 emails for wider distribution, using a semi-colon ( ; ) to separate email addresses.

Click on ‘Save’ at bottom of the page.

  • I don’t want to receive notification emails; how can I opt out?

In myCHEP, go to User Profile Preferences:

In the top right-hand corner of the myCHEP screen, click on the ‘person’ icon and then click Preferences.

Then Scroll down the page to the ‘Transactional Email Alert preferences’ section and uncheck the ‘Track My Load’ Service.

Then scroll back to the top of the screen and select ‘Profile’.

Click on ‘Save’ at bottom of the page.

Please note, on-screen pop up notifications in myCHEP will continue in the initial phase.

  • I haven’t received any notification of an estimated time of arrival, what should I do?

Your ability to track the delivery won’t impact our intention to deliver.

This may be down to a technical issue or a setting in the location setup of your myCHEP User Profile preferences. Please see the steps outlined to help modify each of these settings.

  • How can I modify my user profile preferences to stop or start email notifications?

To modify your User Profile Preferences in myCHEP:

In the top right-hand corner of the myCHEP screen, click on the ‘person’ icon and then select Preferences.

Then Scroll down the page to the ‘Transactional email Alert preferences’ section and check if the ‘Track My Load’ Service box is checked. If it isn’t, please click to see the ‘check’ mark. Then scroll back to the top of the screen and select ‘Profile’.

Click on ‘Save’ at bottom of the page.

  • How can I check my user location setup to start or stop email notifications?

To check your User Location set-up in myCHEP:

From the Menu Option, select Administration, then Manage Locations, followed by selecting ‘Services’, then ‘Orders’ selector.

In the left-hand panel, scroll down to see if the ‘Track My Load’ is enabled.
