8070 Wooden Bulk Bin

CHEP Bulk Bins are the answer for meeting peak harvesting requirements and for onward transportation of fruit or produce to cold storage and packing plants.  Specifically designed to meet the needs of Southern Africa’s agricultural producers. Manufactured from selected timber and reinforced with galvanized steel outer corners for strength and stability. Edges to all slats and internal corners are rounded to reduce the possibility of bruising and damage to produce.

Size Options

  • CHEP Bulk Bins are available in either full (730 mm height) or half (420mm height) sizes.
  • The 730 mm Bulk Bin is the industry standard and used in most applications, especially for citrus and deciduous fruit or vegetables. The Half-Bin is  better suited for the handling of soft produce such as plums and avocado pears, which are more susceptible to damage and bruising.

Easy Identification

  • The Bulk Bins have a blue painted slat with the CHEP logo for easy identification.
  • CHEP agricultural representatives are always available to give advice on the handling and distribution of your produce.
